About the Show
Diving into the color
Paint Works has been an ongoing project since September 2022.

Paint Works is an animated workplace comedy set inside a dysfunctional 24-hour paint store where the spills are endless, the customers are unpredictable, and the employees are… still here, for some reason.
At the center is Jinora, a neurodivergent cat with a quick wit, a deep heart, and a strong sense of color theory—whether the world wants it or not. She’s joined by a misfit team: an anxious owl obsessed with sales numbers, a chaotic raccoon with a sharp tongue, a sarcastic fox who thinks he’s above it all, and an exhausted assistant manager just trying to hold it together.
Each episode explores the hilarious and often surreal realities of modern work culture—corporate hypocrisy, burnout, retail absurdity—through Jinora’s unique lens. The show doesn’t revolve around her neurodivergence, but it shapes how she experiences the world: with intensity, humor, insight, and the occasional rooftop cry.
Inspired by real-world retail experience and infused with color-drenched surrealism, Paint Works is a story about found family, holding on to dreams, and surviving capitalism—one mistint at a time.

Paint Works is my original creation — written, drawn, and directed by me. AI doesn’t replace artists here; it acts as my assistant, helping bridge the gap between my drawings and full animation. Every character, every scene, still comes from my hand and vision. The soul of Paint Works is, and always will be, mine.
